If you are trying to make a call and get an error message such as 'forbidden' or 'NCOS forbidden', this will normally be due to restrictions on your outbound dialling plan.
The default set up for our system is to allow calls to UK landline numbers, 07 mobile numbers, 0800 numbers and 0808 numbers. The reason this is set up as default is to prevent you from calling numbers which will incur additional charges and will be outside the inclusive allowance on your plan.
If you are dialling an 0845 number and will need to call these frequently we can update your dialling restrictions to allow you to call 0845 numbers but please be aware that this may incur additional call charges. To request this, please email support@desk-phone.com to ask for 0845 number calling to be enabled on your account.
International dialling is also restricted by default due to the costs involved in calling these numbers, we can lift this restriction but this has to be approved by our accounts team.
If you need International dialling to be enabled on your account, please complete the form below and send this to support@desk-phone.com, the relevant checks will then be performed before this restriction is lifted.
