Placing a caller on Hold on your Go Mobile
Whilst in a call you can place a caller on hold by pressing '##' (the hash key twice) in rapid succession. The caller will hear the platform hold music. To cancel the transfer and return to the call press #.
Transfer a call on your Go Mobile
You can transfer your call in two ways using your Go Mobile, either blind or assisted.
Blind transfer:: A blind transfer forwards your call directly to another party as if they called the transfer number themselves.
Whilst in a call you can perform the following steps to transfer a call to another person:
1. "##" to get a dial tone (The other person in the call will hear music)
2. Enter number then press "#"
To cancel the blind transfer press '#'
Assisted Transfer:: The assisted transfer allows you to speak to the person you are transferring the call to before you complete the transfer. This is useful if you are unsure if the person you are transferring the call to is available or for screening calls.
Whilst in a call you can perform the following steps to transfer a call to another person:
1. "##" to get a dial tone (The other person in the call will hear music)
2. Enter number then press "*" for attended transfer, then Hang up to complete the transfer.
To cancel the attended transfer after the call has been answered by the other party, or voicemail, dial "#1" to be returned to the original call.
