Using a headset with a Yealink T19P

First you will need to connect the headset to your Yealink T19P and then will need to activate the headset by following the guide below.

The port to connect your headset to the T19p is on the back of the phone, above the handset port and is marked with a headset icon   .  Please ensure you are plugging this into the correct port otherwise the headset will not work. 

TO ACTIVATE THE HEADSET

Press the headset button on your T19P -   

You should then see a headset icon on the phone idle screen which indicates that headset mode is activated. 

While this mode is activated you just need to press the Answer soft key to answer calls and the call will connect to your headset automatically.  To make a call, you simply enter the desired number and press the Send soft key, the phone will then place the call and will automatically use the headset to do this. 

TO DEACTIVATE THE HEADSET

Press the headset button on your T19P -   

The headset icon on the phone idle screen should then disappear indicating that headset mode is no longer activated.
